Player Biography

Hi, my name is Sam.

I play in the position of Defence.

I've been playing ice hockey since 2012 and I started my career playing for MK Storm. I joined the Okanagan Hockey Academy in 2013, and then moved onto the Ontario Hockey Academy in 2015. 

I returned home in 2019 where I played for MK Lightning and than joined the Coventry Blaze in the Elite League for the 20/21 season.

I returned once more to my home club (MK Lightning) in 2021 where I also had stints back at Coventry Blaze up until the 22/23 season.

I’m really happy I can play again for Chelmsford this year. A year ago I said this looked like a loved club, and after just one season I’ve felt that love from the fans, the staff and my teammates. The fans are the best and the loudest in the league, and ‘that’ Streatham game is all the proof you need for that and those moments are what we play for. I want to build on last year, and help the team and Cliff in any way I can. Go on the Chiefs❤️
