Soar and O'Neil return!

Another superb pair of signings for the 26/27 season!

The Chelmsford Chieftains are extremely pleased to announce the re-signing of Tom Soar and Regan O'Neil for the 26/27 season.

Tom Soar had the following to say about his return:

"I'm delighted to be re-signing with the Chelmsford Chieftains this season. I'm really looking forward to working with Coach Clem as he steps up, I like what he's about and I'm excited to get started together.

It's a great club with an even better fanbase, home and away. We've got unfinished business as a group, and I'm hungry to get back out there and push on this year."

Regan O'Neil had the following to say about his return:

"Having joined partway through last year, it quickly became something special, made even better by the incredible support from our fans week in, week out. Home or away, the passion, noise, and backing you bring really drives this team on and malkes wearing this shirt something I'm truly proud to do.

I'm coming back fully focused, hungry to build on what we started, and ready to give everything I've got for the badge once again. There's still unfinished business - and I can't wait to be back out there in front of you all."

Coach Clem said the following about Toms return:

Soarsy was a new addition to the team last season and he fitted in really well, very likeable guy off the ice and great player on it, he's hard working, shoots well and can play in all situations when called upon which makes him a great fit for us going  into the new season."

...and on Regans return he said the following:

Having Reg sign back is a massive boost for the team. He made a big difference at the back when he joined last season with his work rate and presence on the ice and I love his no-nonsense style of play. I believe he has even more to come as well, so I'm looking forward to working with him this season."
